Scott Hallsworth's Freak Scene has launched a new brunch at its Parsons Green and Balham outposts, inspired by the High Teas of Singapore. It's running on Saturdays in October, and includes a welcome drink, tom yum fried rice and afternoon tea-style tiers of treats like char sui pulled shiitake puffs; seared salmon sashimi with ginger, soy and chilli; and crispy rock shrimp jalapeno (there's also a birthday cake ice cream bombe Alaska to finish up). Tapas restaurant La Rueda is marking forty years of bringing Spanish flavours to London with a hefty discount on food. Until 30th October 2024, it's soft launching its new menu with 25% off, and 50% off its main food menu every Monday. Pick from the likes of grilled squid with chimichurri to its famous seafood paella.

Clapham grill house Franklin and Baines, which opened in February, has an ongoing two for one offer on all the steaks on its grill menu, running on Tuesdays. The section includes its 200g hanger, 250g rump and sirloin, 300g rib-eye and 1kg tomahawk for two.
