You may think of port as something that gets passed round the table once a year at Christmas, but you’d be wrong. A renaissance in the fortified wine scene has meant that port is now found in a range of exciting cocktails, be it white port (often mixed with tonic for a simple gin and tonic alternative), or an aged old tawny port.
