One of Rioja's most historic wineries, the Compañía Vinicola del Norte de España was founded back in 1879 by two brothers. While its first wine took the name of the company's initials, CVNE, a simple printing error, replacing the V with a U, led to the creation of the respected Cune brand, which is today still run by the same family, now in its fifth generation. 

We've been working with the team at Cune to delve into all things Rioja (you can see our guide to the wine here, and explore pairing potential for white Rioja this way) and create recipes which are the perfect partners to its wines.
