Julie Lin turned her love of cooking into a career when she appeared on MasterChef in her early twenties, reaching the quarterfinals. Since then, she has developed her Malaysian and Scottish cooking style and now owns GaGa in Glasgow, which celebrates Southeast Asian flavours. Her first cookbook, Sama Sama, was released in 2025.
