Le Gruyère AOP cheese and pickle toastie

This quick Le Gruyère AOP cheese toastie is a great example of how easy it is to make good food with good ingredients. Fresh bread, sharp mustard and most of all beautiful cheese are really the stars of this classic sandwich.

Spread the bread with the mustard, then top half the slices with some of the pickle and cover with the slices of Gruyère cheese

Close the sandwiches with the other half of the bread and press together

Heat up some vegetable oil and butter in a pan. Once hot, add the sandwich and fry for 3–4 min on each side, then serve warm
