The fourth series of The Great British Bake Off introduced us, and the amateur bakers, to delicately layered opera cakes, experimental wheat-free loaves, and the relatively unknown sweet bread ‘crown’, the couronne. Urvashi Roe, a contestant in series two, reviews the series for us.
