If you're looking for a list of all the restaurants in the 2025 Michelin Guide for Great Britain and Ireland, look no further – here, we've included every restaurant which has made it into the hallowed red book. The 2025 guide was unveiled at Glasgow's Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum, with the results broadcast online at the same time.
In total, this year's guide (the fifty-first in Great Britain and Ireland) gave twenty-six restaurants new ratings, including twenty-two new one-star restaurants and three new two-star restaurants (Humble Chicken, The Ritz and Hide and Fox). And in particularly exciting news, a new three-star restaurant was announced: Mark Birchall’s Moor Hall in Ormskirk. The restaurant has held two stars since 2019. In his speech Mark Birchall said the secret was a good team, thanking his head chef, restaurant manager and general manager, who had been with him since the start of the restaurant.
When it came to sustainability, there were five new Green Stars: Homestead Kitchen in Goathland, Jericho in Plungar, Native in Tenbury Wells, Pythouse Kitchen Garden in Tisbury and Wild Shropshire in Whitchurch.
Some restaurants lost their stars, though many were due to closure or relocation, including Locanda Locatelli, Pollen Street Social and Cornerstone which closed in London. Store in Norwich, Purnell’s in Birmingham and Wild Honey Inn in County Clare also closed, while Kai and City Social lost their stars.
A handful of Special Awards were handed out throughout the ceremony, including the Chef Mentor Award, which was presented to Adam Byatt, and the Young Chef Award, which was given to Ash Valenzuela-Heeger of Riverine Rabbit in Birmingham. Jasmine Sherry at Fish Shop, Ballater took home the Service Award, while Zsolt Lukács at daróg in Galway scooped the Sommelier Award. The Opening of the Year Award was presented to Jorge Paredes’ OMA in London.
The new one-star restaurants for 2025 were: Oma, Mark Poynton at Castor Hall, Avery, The Morrison Room, Wilson’s, Anglothai, Cornus, 33 The Homend, Gorse, Starling, Lita, Lyla, 64 Goodge Street, Mauro Colagreco at Raffles London at The OWO, Skof, Lignum, Forge, Caractère, Row on 5, Ballyfin, Dosa and Plates.
Thirty-six new restaurants had already been awarded a Bib Gourmand in the guide earlier in the year, taking the total number to 150. When it comes to stars, you can see the full list of Michelin star UK restaurants for 2025 below.
